THE CAPE
DIRECTIONS: Go to Cape Woolamai on Phillip Island. Head to the surf beach and walk along the beach for 1km. (More details soon)
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Fast flowing but technical downhill, once you get to the top, with no manmade jumps with 1 or 2 small drops. The trail is a hardened yellow clay with lots of rocks and crevices as it is near a cliff edge (comes within 20-30 meters but u got a 112m fall if your unlucky). It is very long for a downhill course and takes around 18 minutes to get to the bottom and some form of protection would be recommended because it is fast. You must however ride to the top first as there is no transportation. There is a surf lifesaving clubhouse nearby with a kiosk that is open during summer.
